Emma Vonder Haar is a calligrapher, designer, and educator based in St. Louis, Missouri. Specializing in modern calligraphy, Emma loves creating type by hand. After completing a BFA in Visual Communications from Truman State University, she interned with the in-house design team at Southwest Airlines in Dallas, Texas. These days, Emma works with freelance clients on lettering and design projects and regularly hosts modern calligraphy workshops.
Outside of creating letters out of food for fun and painting 6 foot banners out of James Brown lyrics, Emma spends her time running (and training for) marathons, reading nerdy non-fiction books, and traveling.
